REGISTER YOUR CHILD
In September 2005, PMCS will enroll children age three through fourth grade. The cutoff for birthdays is September 1st (i.e. to be eligible for enrollment this year, the youngest children must turn three by September 1, 2005 and the oldest children must not turn nine before September 1, 2006).
For the 2005-06 School Year, PMCS will hold a lottery on April 1st for three-year-olds only. All other grades are currently filled. Families will be notified if their children are accepted or added to the waitlist.

Application and Enrollment Process

| Open Enrollment Period for students who will be 3 years old in SY 2005-06 | September 23, 2004 – Monday, March 28, 2005 | Applications accepted during this period. At the end of the open enrollment period for three-year-olds, if we are over-enrolled, a lottery* will be held. |
| Deadline to submit applications for three-year-olds to be included in Lottery.* | Monday, March 28, 2005 | Applications must be received by 5:00 PM on Monday, March 28, 2005 to be included in the lottery. (Mail applications to: 2227 Island Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19142). After the lottery is conducted, children will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the school is filled, after which a waiting list will be created.* |
| Lottery | Friday, April 1, 2005 | This is a fair, unbiased selection process. |
| Notification | Saturday, April 2, 2005 – Tuesday, April 5, 2005 | Parents will be notified by mail if their children are accepted into the school (through the lottery process), or if not, their number on the waitlist. |
| Individual Meetings | Tuesday, April 5, 2005 – Thursday, April 14, 2005 | During individual meetings, parents will have the opportunity to ask any outstanding questions to ensure that PMCS is right for their child. They can provide all the information required for enrollment during this meeting. |
| Enrollment packages due | Friday, April 15, 2005 | In order to hold their child’s spot, parents must submit a completed enrollment package by April 15, 2005. |
* Note: All grade levels are currently filled. Students may submit applications and will be placed on a waitlist. As such, the incoming class of three-year-olds is the only class eligible for the lottery.
